Why is the missile shield a threat to Russia? ?
Defense missile shield consist of rockets in Poland and Radar in Chech Republic. US says that it is needed for protection of US and ally’s from nuclear attack of rogue states, such as Iran and Korea. And they say that no threat ot Russia is made and we are just paranoic. Maybe it is true to some extent, but there are some points to paranoi around. For example, rogue states don’t have missiles yet. They are trying to make them but there is still much work to do, while everybody is trying to stop them. Iran can’t strike Europe now and will not be able to do so at least for 10 years, because he neither has nuclear bomb nor the rocket to deliver it to such length. The same for Korea. Also think that when big country receives nuclear warhead it becomes more stable by itself, because they are afraid to use it knowing that there will be retaliation. Tensions between US and USSR were high but neither used a single bomb against each other. Iran will not shoot immeditely when he gets the bomb –
