Why is the membrane on my OtterBox for iPod case not flush against the wheel of the iPod?

0

Because the case is fully waterproof air can be trapped. This trapped air is what causes the membrane over the click wheel to “bubble” or bow away from the iPod mini making it more difficult to use. To fix this, lightly press down on the center of the membrane when closing and latching the case. This should push enough air out of the case that the membrane lays flat against the iPod click wheel.
