Check your browser’s security settings to ensure that Applets and Java are enabled. Some browsers have these disabled for security purposes. Make sure you have the latest version of your browser. Older versions may have problems with the Mapplet. The Mapplet often does not work well with Netscape and a Macintosh computer. Try downloading the latest version of Internet Explorer, Macintosh edition (verion 4.5 or greater). You can get it here.
