Why is the Living Urn roughly textured?
The Living Urn is textured for a very specific reason. We worked with marine biologists and ecologists to determine the best possible surface texture to attract marine life, and the result is the “coralized” surface texture you see. The small craters and divets allow marine plants and animals to attach to the reef easily… and stay there. Whether you choose salt water, fresh water, or land placement, the Living Urn will attract and foster life.
