Why is the Lion a coward in Wicked?
“Wicked” the lion is a coward because he was taken as a cub and used in an attempt to force Animals to stop speaking and turn into regular animals. However, Elphaba and Fiyero save the cub from this experiment. But as he had already been exposed to what would have happened, he became immedietly frightened of them finding him again and proceding with the original plan.
