Why is the JAX CEO leaving, and how would it affect The Jackson Laboratory and JAX—Florida?

0

President and CEO Richard Woychik, Ph.D., announced in March 2010 that he would step down as director of the Laboratory to pursue other career interests. While he remains in his position, Woychik will continue to lead the JAX—Florida initiative. This will ensure a smooth transition to new leadership for both the Laboratory and for JAX—Florida. Woychik has been at the Laboratory since 2002. During his tenure the organization has prospered, increasing its staff size, growing the annual budget by 61 percent and greatly expanding its presence in California.
