Why Is the Interface Down After the display mpls rsvp-te interface Command Is Used?
If the interface is not configured with an IP address or the shutdown command is used on the interface, RSVP-TE interfaces can be Down. If the interface is not enabled with RSVP-TE, no prompt is displayed after you use the display mpls rsvp-te interface command. For the serial interface, it can be Up only when the peer is Up and is configured with an IP address.
