Why is the initial investment non-refundable?
The option consideration is non-refundable because we are holding the home off the retail market for the term of your lease. We are forgoing immediate sales opportunities, and potentially lucrative appreciation rates. The homes we offer are carefully selected for their quality and location. They are in highly desirable areas, with schools, churches, shopping, major highway access and other amenities nearby that savvy home owners are seeking. If you choose not to buy the home, which is of course your option, we bear significant risk, and have to be compensated. It’s only fair. And, don’t forget, when you buy the home, your entire initial investment is credited towards the purchase price. Every penny. When you buy with us, you don’t lose your investment.
