Why is the History-Based Writing Lessons product more expensive than the Medieval-Based Writing Lessons resource?
For $49 you receive the Teacher’s Manual and the Student Book (one copy, not two). If you need extra copies of the student book, you can purchase them separately. You also get the Student Resource Notebook (an e-book) to download when you buy any of the theme-based lessons. The US History is the same cost as the Ancient-History. Both are more expensive than the Medieval because the latter is shorter and combines the student and teacher’s into one volume. Same with the Life Science-Based, Bible-Based, and Character-Based: these are all single volumes combining teacher and student instruction. The Student Resource Notebook is separate because it’s just that: resources (such as a grammar section, word lists, models of the structure) that could be used with any IEW writing program. It’s not the same as the Student Book for US History, which gives instruction, assignments, checklists, etc. to students for that program (US History).
