Why is the High closing the Folk Art and Photography Galleries at Georgia Pacific Center downtown?
SC: With the museum expansion, the High will have twice as much exhibition space for the collection and for special exhibitions. We are eager to have all the curatorial areas displayed together in one location. I m excited about the prospect of planning exhibitions that will be seen by more general museum visitors, not only those who came to the Folk Art and Photography Galleries specifically to see the folk art or photography exhibitions.
