Why is the Graduate School deadline different for International students than the CSE deadline?
The Graduate School encourages international applicants to complete its application form and especially to send transcripts by November 1 because it takes them time to evaluate International transcripts. Other UW departments than CSE require this evaluation; CSE does not. International applicants whose on-line application is complete (required materials entered, fee paid and application submitted) by December 15 will be considered for admission.
