Why is the government allowing illegal Moslem Marriages?

Safwaan says correctly that it is not illegal to perform nikah in a mosque not registered to conduct civil marriage. However, the nikah will not constitute a legal marriage, and it will be misleading and perhaps very harmful to claim otherwise. Some of the provisions *may* be enforceable in a civil law suit, but that is still a long way from making it a legal marriage. Such a marriage will certainly not confer any marriage advantages in terms of tax or benefits (not that there are many). The onus is really on the Muslim community to evict irresponsible imams and mosque commitees and ensure that the mosques they themselves pay for serve the community by helping it to find its place within the wider society.

I don’t like stupidity when it’s a spiritual marriage you call it illegal and when two homosexuals live and have life together you call it freedom and human right and hogwash and Bologna,,etc what a paradox :/
