Why is the fundraising so important, isn’t the walk more about Stigma Busting?
The NAMI NH Walk is about both Stigma Busting and raising the critical funds needed to continue providing the support and education that families need. With the loss of state funding (over $500,000 per year) for our family support and education programs such as the Family to Family and Support Group Facilitator Training, NAMI NH has had to make fundraising a priority.
