Why is the Fall Leaf Vacuum Program provided?
The Fall Leaf Vacuum Program is provided to reduce heavy accumulations of leaves. Excessive amounts of leaves may cause slippery road and sidewalk conditions and block storm sewer catch basins causing drainage problems and flooding. The program also helps support composting efforts that reduce the amount of leaf waste going into landfill sites.
