Why is the fact that water exists in 3 states be biologically important?

Only if water can exist as ice( in solid form), the sea animals in the arctic ocean can survive under the frozen ice. Only if water can exist as liquid, any biological activity can take place in any living thing. Only if water can take the form of a gas, it can go up and come back as rain. If water does not have the property of existing in any of these forms, then u and me anybody will not survive and probably some alien child may be studying in his/her school that-“There is no unique planet in the universe”!
