Why is the English dubbed version of Sailor Moon so different from the original?
It was probably an attempt by the American producers to gloss over some of the things they felt were not appropriate for children (It was intended as a children’s cartoon in the U.S.). Over in Japan, manga and anime are adult things too, and with a more open society…….well, let’s just say that the original wasn’t meant for young U.S. children. Category: Sailor Moon Info.
