Why is the e-petition to the Scottish Parliament so important?
E petitions are the official system that the Scottish Parliament has set up to allow folk to make their views known. Representatives from the Partnership are likely to be invited to appear at the Petitions Committee and may be referred on by them to the Transport Committee. We are also very keen to ensure that the Campaign gets cross-party support in the Parliament. It is essential that the Partnership can demonstrate very significant public support for the Campaign.
