The deadline for submissions and demos for the BREW 2006 Developer Awards is earlier than previous years in order to accommodate the increasing number of awards submissions that Qualcomm receives each year. Award entries continue to grow each year and this earlier deadline is necessary for the judges to thoroughly review all entries. Additionally, the evaluation period for the awards program falls during a very busy time for the industry-wide panel of judges. With shows such as 3GSM World Congress, Game Developers Conference and CTIA occurring during this time frame, it was necessary to build in extra time for the judging process. Qualcomm strongly encourages publishers/developers to begin submitting their entries as soon as possible.
