Now, it’s becoming a great tool for artists with a new iPhone application that transforms the tiny phone screen into a hi-tech canvas. The programme is called Brushes and enables everyone — professional or amateur — paint. To create a mobile masterpiece, simply select the shade and size of brush-stroke and paint by dragging one’s finger across the touchscreen. Unlike a conventional canvas, one can undo and redo strokes at will. Each stroke is recorded, so it is possible to see how the painting was created. Sold through iTunes for roughly $5, this application is gaining popularity with artists across the globe.
