Why is the COL+ technology unique and patented around the world?

0

The COL+ technology involves the use of recently developed HPP – (High Pressure Processing) technology. Up until today milk has always been pasteurized to kill bacteria and pathogens. Although the raw colostrum is pasteurized using a flash process, current manufacturing processes using heat actually destroys the active ingredients of colostrum – including the IgG’s, IgA’s or antibodies. These active ingredients must be retained to provide the health benefits to our customers. (Antibodies are of no use or help to us unless they are active antibodies. HPP uses only high pressure in the process, which retains the active antibodies in the product. The pressure used is up to 6000 bar, or 6000 times’ normal air pressure. This is the equivalent of pressure at six times the depth of our deepest oceans.
