Why is the club pushing automatic bank drafts (ACH) rather than checks or credit cards?
ACH is the least expensive method for the club to collect fees. Credit card processors charge a significant percentage for each transaction and this means less money to spend on your childrens soccer. We have found that accepting payment by check costs us a great deal of administrative overhead. People forget to make their payments or they get lost in the mail.
