Stainless steel is an alloy made up of different metals. Nickel gives the stainless steel it strength and hardness while chromium gives it luster & durability. Our sinks contain 18% chromium and 10% nickel which are considered to be surgical grade stainless steel, due to its greater corrosive resistance. Compare us to some of the most famous brands which contain only 8% nickel and are much more expensive. You can easily tell the difference, as their sinks appear dull and grey and ours have a very desirable silver hue.
