Why is the cherry darker now and in a different bottle?
This is because we have changed suppliers. We used to get our product from a supplier in Michigan. We now go to the Michigan’s supplier in Washington State to get our cherries directly. Due to the colder weather and the snowfall, the cherries have changed in color and taste. This does not mean we are providing a lesser product! Crops vary and therefore the product is naturally going to be different one state to the next. It is actually now nutritionally superior and has a higher, more consistent ORAC value according to our testing. The reason it is not in the same type of bottle anymore is due to customer complaints about the aluminum that we used to use (even though we did use a food grade plastic to line the former bottle) so we have switched to glass. We are also happier with our current supplier because they are consistently in stock with the product whereas the Michigan supplier frequently was out of stock, which forced us to put items on backorder, therefore disrupting our busine
