Why is the Center reducing the number of people they serve?
The state’s Resiliency and Disease Management service delivery model has created the need to reduce the numbers served so the consumers that are served can get the highest quality of care. In addition, the Center has been serving more clients than is supported by available funding, resulting in cost over-runs to the Center, especially for medications.
