Why is the Celledoor Bible Miscellany freely downloadable and distributable?
Because it would not be an apostolate for me otherwise. My primary goal is removing barriers to the Truth in regards to Scripture and the Catholic Church. If you had to login to my website everytime to read the content, then that would be a barrier. If you could not make a copy to read privately or to share with friends and family members, that would be a barrier. If it cost money to obtain and retain this information in some way, that would be a barrier. Father Carty in his introduction to Radio Replies First Edition puts it this way:The clergy and the laymen engaged in Street Preaching agree that it is not so much what you say over the microphone in answer to questions from open air listeners but what you GET INTO THEIR HANDS TO READ.
