Why is the CD burner the bigger problem?
Most every PC purchased now comes with a CD burner and software so people seem to feel that this makes it okay to burn CDs and that it really isn’t stealing. If the CD buyer doesn’t care about the album artwork and packaging, then there is not much you can do to stop them. CD burning seems to be most rampant on college campuses and with high school and middle school students. What kind of tour support does your label offer its artists? It varies per artist. We don’t have a set policy, but rather provide what is needed for our artists on an as needed basis. Each of our artists are at different stages of their careers, so each requires a different plan to be put in place to support their touring efforts. As a company, we feel it is important for a band/artist to have a solid foundation and touring is the truest way to accomplish this goal.
