Why is the case study so abstract?

0

The case study was originally developed to provide an example of a non-directed transformation, to explore reverse engineering transformations. Submissions may wish to consider the reverse engineering case, but this is not required. By providing an abstract case study over and above the mandatory example, it is hoped that authors will tackle what they consider to be the most interesting parts. Authors are also free to change any aspect of the case study that they wish to, provided the change is appropriately documented.
