Why is the campaign goal $2,000,000 if the heating and air conditioning cost is estimated to be $1,100,000?
We have added $250,000 for architect drawings, plans and specification for a new Welcome Center proposed by the Long Range Planning Committee and approved by the Church Charge Conference in November. The cost of capital campaign has also been included in the total goal of $2,000,000. In addition, a Capital Needs Fund in the amount of $565,000 has been included to take care of other current building and maintenance needs. The designation of $365,000 is for immediate needs and with the balance of $200,000 in reserve so the building can be properly maintained into the future.
