Why is the British soccer team not good?
Presumably you refer to the English football team which played poorly in this world cup. As someone who went to every England home qualifying game, where we scored a lot of goals, played great football and beat Croatia 4-1 and 5-1, I can tell you that in the world cup, we played nothing like we are capable of. The majority of our players stand shoulder to shoulder with the best in the world in the Premier League but they did not play as a team recently. It is difficult to explain why without making excuses. So, all I will say is that they are much more capable than they have recently shown. Winning and losing is a fine margin. Had the ghost goal been given against Germany it would have been 2-2 and we would have come back from being 2-0 down and Germany would have been disappointed to have thrown away a 2 goal lead.
