The Big Bang is not the absolute final to the creation of matter and time. it is however the best we have so far. It explains many of the observations in our present universe and the historic evidence present through astronomy and astrophysics. Like all science it is constantly being investigated and improved. It would be more accurate to say that te Big Bang Theery is accepted as a reasonable explanation.
