Why is the AquaStar a more healthy alternative to standard air conditioners?
Traditional CFC gas-based air conditioners create condensation on the fan coil and so they dehydrate the air. In dry climates this can cause the mucus membranes of the nose and throat to crack. When the more efficient air/water contactor is used to cool the air it adds a small amount of moisture to dry air and so it does not cause the aforementioned issue. Secondly, it does not use harmful CFC gases which damage the environment for everyone. Lastly, it also cleans the air similar to using an air scrubber which can cost thousands of dollars, providing a better all around air quality and comfort.
