This means that the potential for risk of harm to the public is also increasing. • The Alberta and Canadian governments have made commitments to improving labour mobility. Part of their strategy to improving labour mobility is to create credentials recognition across provinces – regulation is seen to help this process. How much will this cost? Who pays? Costs associated with participating in the Transitional Steering Committee and of developing regulation will have to be paid by the three participating Associations.
