Why is the activation expiration date different from the license expiration date?
The expiration date for key activations will be 10 days past the expiration date of the license. This gives you extra time to purchase a new Presentation license if you choose to continue using the software. The expiration date for code activations will be 10 days past the end of the current year of the license. This is true even for multi-year licenses – you are required to reactivate Presentation once a year. Twenty days prior to the end of each year in a license, the web site will restore all the activations so that you can reactivate for the next year. The extra 10 days provides time to activate Presentation for the next year.
