Why is the ACCUPLACER placement test important?
ACCUPLACER assessments are computerizes placement tests that assess basic skills. The purpose of the ACCUPLACER is to provide ACC students with useful information about academic skills in math, english, and reading. The results of the assessment, in conjunction with a student’s academic background, goals, and interests, are used to assist ACC Academic Advisors in determining a student’s course selection.
