Why is that confusion a big deal?
Our admissions and fundraising staff members spend too much time explaining who we are not, instead of who we are. The confusion makes it difficult for UHD admissions staffers to recruit and enroll students, for fundraisers to raise scholarship and support money and for UHD to add degree programs. The confusion also means UHD students, faculty, staff and alumni do not receive the credit they deserve for their achievements.
