Why is Tarmon Gaidon not a Mush?
RP only determines what happens on a Mush, and there is nothing wrong with it. But it can lead to interesting situations where people have conflicting ideas on what happens and the abilities of the people they are playing. On Tarmon Gaidon, much of these situations are avoided by having code as the final arbiter. Effort spent on your character, in RP (Being guilded and rank earned, equipment awarded, etc) and time spent working a Pfile (Generally the more powerful the pfile in combat, the harder it is to level) determines the capability of a character. As a result there will be no-one logging on and within an hour, simply by virtue of typing it, be the most skilled Blademaster on the mud. Anyone is welcome to rp their character as they wish within the constraints and information in the books.
