Why is talking on a cell phone and driving dangerous?

when you are talking on a cell phone while driving, you are not giving 100% of your attention to the road and when that happens you can get into an acciedent and probably get yourself killed or kill others.

It is extremely dangerous to talk on a cell phone and drive. Mostly because you are losing one hand on the steering wheel, but even if you are using a headset, the conversation is too distracting to pay the needed attention that driving requires. In California, I believe that headset will be outlawed in the near future.. I’m not sure how this is any different than talking to another passenger, but soon it will be against the law to talk to them too… God help you if you have young children in the car, their distractions are far worse than any cell phone!!
