Why is Sustainable Enterprise (SE) an “enrichment” concentration?
Sustainable enterprise is not a career discipline — like finance or marketing. Instead, it is a “lens” through which you can look at any company and your role within it. For example, an MBA student looking at finance through the SE lens might pursue careers in socially responsible investing. A student looking at careers in marketing, on the other hand, might look at work in firms doing green marketing, social marketing, or cause marketing. SE can complement any career concentration, and UNC Kenan-Flagler students often complete more than one concentration.
