Why is Streptococuss Faeccalis in Threelac – Isn that Toxic?
First of all ‘streptococcus’ just means ‘berry shaped’ and the name is given to many strains of bacteria that are ‘berry shaped’. There are toxic streptococcus bacillus and they get a lot of press. The strains used in Threelac are ‘lactic acid’ producing bacteria and produce a beneficial environment in the intestines – lactic acid in the intestines is said to act like a natural antibiotic.
