Why is Stewart getting the Science, Math, Tech school rather than Giaudrone which is a newer school with better technology and science labs?
The U.S. Department of Education requires low-performing schools to choose one of four models for school improvement. One of those models — called “Turnaround” — requires the district to institute a new, rigorous academic program then hire a new cadre of teachers specifically trained to teach in that area of expertise.
