Why is sterilisation necessary?
It is important to sterilise items in the first months, because germs causing many infections may remain even after cleaning a bottle. Sterilising bottles is recommended until your baby is 4 months old, at which age your baby begins to put all kinds of accessories or toys in his or her mouth. Nevertheless, it is recommended that all accessories that your baby puts in his or her mouth are sterilised, at least prior to being used the first time.
