Why is spring tea expensive?
Having accumulated some substances in winter, tea trees can provide abundant nourishing components for spring tea. Moreover, in spring, the leaves on tea trees are tender and slim, and rich in ingredients; these leaves can brew the best tea. In contrast, tea leaves in summer are in rapid growth, reducing the amount of water-soluble lixivium, and leading to an uneven color of tea, and a bitter taste. As for autumn, the weather is mild when compared with that of spring and summer, which brings a slight yellow color, and a mild taste and smell. Therefore, spring tea is generally more expensive.
