Why is Spike Lee such an idiot?
You’re right. He’s also an idiot because he showed up at the Lakers-Celtics game the other night at the Staples Center to root for the Lakers, while wearing a Yankees cap and a Yankees shirt. We also haven’t forgotten all the trash he talked about Larry Bird, saying that he was an overrated player, this and that, and that the media paid attention to Bird only because he was white. It seems that he does everything in his power to piss off sports fans in Boston. As far as Clint Eastwood’s film is concerned, Lee has no reason to gripe because the U.S. military was segregated during WW2. Depicting a cast of all-white soldiers, while disturbing to many black veterans, is in fact historically accurate.
