Why is SPF 45 the highest available protection from Dermatone?
As the SPF rating rises, the percent of the sun’s rays blocked does not increase proportionally. Many customers have the misconception that there is a large increase in sun protection from an SPF 33 to an SPF 45. In reality, as the chart in the previous question highlights, the SPF 45 only blocks 0.8% more of the suns rays.
