Why is special footwear not readily available?
Basically all special footwear (special measurements and orthopedics) is hand-made to order once the order is placed by DSCP with the manufacturer. This is not a production line process. Since most of the materials for footwear are size specific, many of the materials that go into this footwear need to be specially ordered or created in-house by the manufacturer before the footwear can be built.
