Currently the AGTA code is “R” (irradiated) for both Blue Topaz treatments, electron accelerated and neutron irradiated. Electron accelerated product is not included in the current regulations. The current regulations are for neutron irradiated product (Swiss & London color) only. Our larger sizes of Sky Blue color Topaz are treated by electron acceleration.
