Why is some convenient stores part of law suit with tobacco companies?
Jim Calvin, of the New York Association of Convenience Stores, acknowledged that “These gruesome signs were chasing customers away” who wanted to buy other items, such as milk. On the other hand some convenience stores have acknowledged that posters like diseased lungs have changed habit of some customers to buy chewing tobacco instead of cigarettes. Cigarette smoking can induce lung cancer and heart diseases, which are a burden to healthcare system. What would be the best method to get people off the tobacco; I would let you decide that.
