Why is some content different from the original page?
The cached page shows what a page was like when our crawler visited it. The original page may have been updated since then, especially if it is something like a news site. Our cached page will also differ if the original page uses frames or dynamic redirection, which our crawler does not yet support. Also, it cannot “see” content generated dynamically by a script, or text embedded in an image (unless there’s an alternative description). In fact, no search engine crawlers follow scripts or extract text from images. • Why is word “X” wrong? Our crawler decides on the most likely meaning for a word given the available evidence. The process is very accurate on average and is improving all the time. So long as it helps you to find the information you want, a few wrong senses are acceptable – especially if the “wrong” sense is closely related to the “right” sense.
