WHY IS SILK HYPO-ALLERGENIC?
Mulberry silk starts out as pure, clean strands of fibre held together with a natural glue called sericin. It is processed without the use of chemicals, our supplier actually washes the strands in spring water to avoid contamination with impurities from tap water. Sericin naturally repels the dust mite, a major source of allergens, making the fibre naturally hypo-allergenic.
