Why is shipping somewhat expensive?
The reason for the shipping prices has nothing to do with weight (as the heaviest boxed cover weighs 50 lbs). Rather, even though the covers are shipped securely folded, we have designed the shipping boxes to be quite a bit bigger than required. The reason for this is that the cover is basically suspended inside considerably larger shipping box to provide a buffer zone between the box and the cover to prevent damage while shipping. This configuration has served us well as it is very rare that we have a cover damaged when being shipped to a customer. As the box is too large to conveniently ship using UPS or the US Postal service, we use freight trucking companies to ship the cover to you. However, rest assured that we do not markup the cost of shipping in any way. We pass the shipping cost directly to you without markup. Believe it or not, the shipping charges we pass directly on to you are a very good deal when compared to what you would pay if you were to ship the cover yourself. For
